Mobile Ringtones Why We Cannot Ignore Them
How Ringtones Reflect You
We have mentioned that there are three types of ring tones, monophonic, polyphonic, and the mp3 ring tones.
Some older generation users would say that as long as the mobile phone is able to call, send and receive messages, ring tones are not that important.
But then again, although that is true, the concept of having a specific ring tone, in itself, is a way to of one’s personality.
The type of phone a person has is even a reflection of his / her personality.
Do you know why mobile ringtones are becoming a hit and very sought after these days?
Because of the different types of mobile phones there are in the market, the more adaptable they are in allowing different tones to be downloaded to your handset, the more sale you would see.
As retailers, even resellers, of mobile phones, regardless of whether the mobile phone is original or not, the thing that catches a consumer is the ability of the phone to be personalized. A phone whose wallpaper can be customized to have one’s picture placed on it, or a phone whose ring tone can be actual songs that you can use as ring tones…these are real big sellers.
You would wonder, ‘Why?’, when the basic purpose of a ring tone is just to indicate that a person is calling, and more to a point, who is calling. That is actually very true. In a nutshell, a ringtone is just a way of letting the phone owner know is calling, but then again, as the mobile phone is a reflection of what type of person owns that phone, ring tones, too, say something about the phone owner.
So, try to look around, and be more observant.
Ring tones are, in effect, how you perceive people, even how you see a certain person, which is why you assign this specific ring tone, and yet again, it also says something about you, the phone owner.
