It was seen that the Global ringtone market is going to grow to about $5.2 billion every year. In 2006 alone, it was seen that that about $32.3 billion or about 10% of the music market in the entire world is accounted solely for the ring tones.

That is why, you should no longer wonder why certain artists like for instance Mariah Carey, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and even 50 cent would compose various ringtones because of this.
